In my previous post, I reviewed the Standard Double Room at the High1 Palace Hotel. This time, I’m excited to share a review of a different room type: the Standard Twin Room.
🏨 Heading to the Room
After checking in, I headed to my assigned room. I used the luggage carts available on the first floor to transport my ski gear and personal bags, which made the move very convenient. Even the carpeted hallways felt stylish and welcoming.
🛏️ Room Condition (Standard Twin)
I was assigned Room 353, which is a "view room." As you open the door, you’ll find the closet on your right and the bathroom on your left.
Power-Only Key Card
The Palace Hotel provides a separate card dedicated to the room's power supply. Simply insert this power card into the slot located to the left of the entrance to turn on all the indoor lights.
Twin Beds
Passing the bathroom and entering the main area, you’ll find the twin beds neatly arranged. The interior remains largely unchanged from my previous visits, which gave me a sense of familiarity and comfort.
- Bedding: The room features two single-sized beds, making it ideal for two guests. The high-density white cotton bedding, typical of 4-star hotels, adds to the clean and crisp atmosphere.
- Pillows: Each bed is basic-set with two low-profile pillows.
- Convenience: A small nightstand is placed between the beds, and a charger is conveniently provided there.
Small Table and Egg Chair
Near the window, there is a small table and an "egg chair." Just leaning back in the egg chair and admiring the winter mountain scenery was a healing experience in itself.
❄️ A Magnificent View
When I pulled back the curtains, a stunning winter landscape unfolded like a painting. The wind turbines visible on the distant snow-covered mountains added to the picturesque scene. I was so captivated by the beauty that I started taking photos immediately, even before changing my clothes.
The next morning, the sky turned a bit dark, and then soft, beautiful snowflakes began to fall. The snowfall soon grew heavier, turning the entire area into a white wonderland.
📌 Things to Note
High1 Palace Hotel maintains a very consistent feel, with little change in room structure, furniture, or amenities compared to my previous visits. For this reason, I’ve omitted repetitive details about the room's interior in this post.
